My client is involved with manufacturing, developing and research into the Maritime, transport and Defence Sectors.
You will need to be eligible for security clearance, so either a British National or been in the UK for the past 5 years with existing right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not an option.
Job Details:
- Take responsibility for the electrical and electronic design and development
- Explore all aspects of the development lifecycle, engineering analysis, requirements analysis, design, implementation, test, build and product support
- Take responsibility for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering delivery of a variety of Electro-mechanical Systems
- Support and facilitate reviews and approvals of electrical & electronic designs in accordance with business and industry standards
- Provide input to Company standards pertaining to Electrical and Electronic Engineering including calculations, CAD models, manufacturing drawings & schematics and technical reports
- Support products through manufacturing, assembly, installation and service life
Skills Required:
- Degree within Electronics or other relevant discipline
- Experience in the design and manufacture of Electrical/Electronics Systems.
- Ability to follow a methodical/systematic approach to analyse and solve problems, identifying key facts and breaking down complex information to components parts.
- Able to produce clear and concise technical documentation
- Demonstrable ability to plan and execute technical assignment
- Strong fault finding/debug skills
- Practical lab skills
- Basic understanding of analogue and digital electronics
